Edrington

The Project

Edrington is known for their well-loved Scottish whiskies such as The Macallan. The Zen Agency were brought in to improve their website to better promote the brand and their products. Edrington’s corporate website was a classic brochure website, displaying their products details about Edrington corporate affairs, but didn’t have many other functions, so Zen vamped it up by updating their digital design!

We created their corporate main site using Umbraco content management system (CMS) and carried out several different services to ensure the website performed effectively and up to standard.

This followed a number of pieces of work including Edrington Nordic corporate sites and Cutty Sark brand site with specific functions for each. These included language variants and specific eCommerce APIs.

We carried out user testing and we worked with the Edrington team to conduct design workshops, this ensured we created a on brand site suitable for the team at Edrington.

The Results

Their site now displays all of their current products with links to each brand where their whiskies can be bought, it has attachments to all the companies annual reports going back to 2012, it has photos and information about all of Edrington’s directors which links to further information about each individual, the website also has information about current job opportunities, how they are being sustainable as well as any news on the company. Lastly the website also includes a swipe along timeline of the brand allowing customers to look back to the brands history from the 1800’s to the present day.

Edrington were delighted to have a site that was on budget and within the Edrington brand guidelines. Zen worked closely with the main Edrington brand and project management team to deliver a fantastic web platform.
