The Project

Funded by the Scottish Funding Council and co-ordinated by the University of Stirling, the Winning Students sports scholarship programme provides talented athletes studying in Scottish colleges and universities with the funding and academic flexibility that enables them to compete at the highest level in their sport and in their studies. 

The Zen Agency was appointed to re-design the Winning Students’ Intranet and the branding for its social media channels, to convey a vibrant feel while highlighting the value of the educational sport programme.

The Zen Agency provided engaging, uncluttered pages with clear links to athlete profiles as well as themed sections for each of the scholarship programme’s core sports. 

We incorporated informative case studies into the fresh design, as well as a ‘Graduate’ Hall of Fame section. Branding for the programme’s social media channels was updated to be consistent with the fresh look and feel of the new site.

The Results

The University was delighted with the fresh new design and branding, viewing it as befitting the profile and status of the Winning Students programme.

Princes Trust Zen worked with Prince's Trust designing two mobile apps as well as conducted UX interviews and testing with young people enrolled in the program.
