Results driven SEO campaign

Scone Palace

The Project

Scone Palace is a 5 star tourism attraction located near the village of Scone in rural Perthshire. This iconic Palace was the crowning place of the Kings of Scotland and is one of the most iconic buildings in Scotland.

Scone Palace approached The Zen Agency at the start of 2015, they had recently launched a new website which was running on the Drupal CMS and they were not seeing the results which they had anticipated from the new site.

Zen undertook a full website audit at the beginning of the project in order to identify any underlying problems which were hurting their ability to rank. The audit looked at all Technical SEO, On Page SEO, Off Page SEO and design elements on the current Scone Palace website.

From the initial audit we developed an action plan to address all the issues which were found, this involved work from both our in house SEO and design and development team.

We discovered that the link profile of Scone Palace may have been affecting its ability to rank and went through the process of getting all spammy links disavowed from Google to ensure these links were not harming Scone Palace in any way.
