NHS C-Card App

We designed, developed and built the Condom Card App for NHS Ayrshire and Arran

NHS

The Project

The Zen Agency was delighted to be commissioned by NHS Ayrshire and Arran to develop an app for the Condom Card. The aim of the app was to help and support everyone who lives, works or studies in Ayrshire and Arran with their sexual health, whether or not they are sexually active.

NHS Ayrshire and Arran wanted to keep up with digital and wanted with younger audiences and keep anonymity and so move this traditional CCard function to be replaced by an app on handheld devices.

The mobile app which was developed on Xamarin for Android and iOS by the team at the Zen Agency displays a wealth of information and allows the users to register for the CCard, providing them with a wealth of information.

Users were registered with a unique identification number and we integrated Google Maps to present them with the location of their nearest pharmacy.

The process included wireframes and UX testing to develop the best user flow and direct users to the right areas of the app as well as concepts in order to align the app with the brand guidelines.

The Results

The result of the process was a clean, easy to use app which displayed the relevant information and allowed the discreet use of the CCard for the target users.

The app also enabled NHS Ayrshire and Arran to distribute relevant information across the app to educate and inform users.

The result will be a clean, easy to use, App platform that will service your users with an informative, engaging resource hub that provides value and ultimately creates a fantastic user experience that reflects services.
